I met a founder and CEO at AFROTECH!

Day 1 of AfroTech was nothing short of inspiring. I met so many amazing people, embraced the culture, and did plenty of walking while soaking in the energy of the tech community! From founders and CEOs to students and aspiring entrepreneurs, the connections were truly impactful.

One highlight was meeting Dr. Stevens Bonhomme, D.B.A, M.A, founder and CEO of Feedcoyote which is an innovative application that connects tech freelancers. Additionally I met the CEO of Culangex, a startup company that I think has huge potential! It was incredible to learn about both of their vision and passion for empowering tech talent!

I also spent the day networking and collaborating with my fellow researcher Michael Olaoye, along with new faces I met at the conference, including Ehiane Oigiagbe, Kaheem G., and Arnold Waigwa. We reviewed resumes, exchanged career advice, and motivated each other to keep pushing forward in this competitive job market.

Overall, it was an amazing first day of connection, learning, and inspiration. Can’t wait to see what Day 2 of AfroTech brings!
